Informed Funding - Events listing |

Business finance is typically discussed in terms of accessing funding for the trading entity, often shaped by the aims of Funders. However, for most businesses, the personal finances of the ownership team are deeply entwined with the company – and it’s often where barriers to success arise.
This Informed Funding Seminar will give you the opportunity to plan your own finance strategy to help you reach your personal and business goals. It consists of a morning of 1:1 Finance and Funding Strategy consultations, an afternoon of workshops delivered in small groups, followed by an evening of informed discussion and networking.
Finance and Funding Strategy Consultations - 9:30am to 1:30pm*
A 1:1 consultation can help you through the finance maze. provide the type of independent, experienced and trusted, guidance on financial challenges that is so hard to find or too expensive to consider.

As a business owner, or ownership team, this is a unique opportunity to assess whether you have your ownership strategy right. Managed within small private groups, learn from top experts, listen to the experience of others, test out your own ideas and get input on some of the challenges you are facing. You can expect to come away with an initial action plan and a series of follow up steps, covering:
· How to protect and grow the value of your stake in the business, and mitigate personal risk at the same time.
· How to deal with other shareholders in the business, not least when things “get out of line”.
· How to plan for an exit or succession strategy.
· Creating incentive teams for your key team and making sure you stay incentivised.
· How best to extract value from the business, including the use of effective tax planning
· How to incorporate your business stake in to a wider personal investment plan.
There will be short break out sessions during which refreshments will be available. We hope that all Workshop delegates will take the opportunity to join the Evening Seminar.
