Lessons in attracting equity for each stage of business growth.
Accessing equity to grow a business is a real challenge, whatever stage of the journey you are on. And there are so many stages! Just think of Seed, Angel, Series A, Series B, Series C, Mezzanine…and that is all before you go public with an IPO. The great majority of businesses that go from start-up to any significant scale, go through multiple rounds. If you enjoy a craft beer from Brew Dog, just consider that they have been through 12 rounds of funding, raising £300m, to get that to you.
Join us for this free seminar where you will get the chance to learn more about the phenomenon that is serial fundraising. You will find insight into the type and number of companies that achieve success in the UK together with the sharing of hands-on experience from the panel discussion. Regular funding rounds don’t just need a good product story and EBITDA projection, they also need dedicated sales and marketing combined with effective management of existing investors. It’s a resource-intensive activity and can be a real roller-coaster for the inexperienced (and, sometimes, the ill-advised).
This evening seminar is free to access for all, but with limited places. Please register your interest in attending. Priority will be given to business owners.
